Het is dus zowel denken als doen en dat is een leuke combinatie. Het is een heel mooi vak wat nog altijd in ontwikkeling is. Chronische pijn heeft een grote impact op het dagelijks leven en ik vind het belangrijk om samen met de patiënt te kijken naar mogelijkheden. Werken in Ziekenhuis Amstelland doe ik nog altijd met veel plezier. We hebben een nauwe samenwerking met het Amsterdam UMC en met de huisartsen in de omgeving is goed contact.’
