Japan Desk

The Japan Desk is a special service for Japanese citizens in the  Amstelveen region.
Employees of the Japan Desk assist Japanese expats in making an appointment with a doctor in the hospital. If neccesary the employee organises not only the visit, but also the guidance and translation of the conversation with the medical specialist. The complexity of the Dutch healthcaresystem and language problems make the visit sometimes difficult.

The Japan Desk is an initiative of the community of Amstelveen, Insurance Company Aon and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and the Amstelland Hospital. Amsterdam Business makes the Japan Desk possible.
